N & H brings to you Natural Eco-friendly Hand Carved Coconut Shell Candle Holders. Our coconut candle holders are carved, designed, and handmade by a team of skilled artisans. For the local people, these trees have a special place in their cultural and economic life, because the export of coconut products brings them great economic efficiency and local jobs. Reclaimed Waste: From coconut milk to coconut water, peoples seemingly insatiable appetite for all things coconut comes at an environmental cost. More than 9 million tons of coconut shells are produced worldwide each year, out of which only 15 per cent are used. Every year billions of coconuts grow and are harvested for their water and white meat – unfortunately 99% of coconut shells go to waste, and are often burned which releases greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. Instead, we reclaim these waste coconut shells, sourcing them from the coconut farms after their water and white meat has been extracted. We work with local artisans to cut, craft and polish the coconut shells, into beautiful Coconut Candle holders. Chemical Free: Unlike plastics, our Coconut Candle Holders are all 100% natural.
